Who we are

Claiyo is a free debt payoff tool built for UK users. We help you understand your debts and create a personalised payoff plan. We are not a financial adviser and do not provide regulated financial advice.

What data we collect

We collect the following information when you use Claiyo:

• Your email address and name (when you sign up)
• Debt information you enter (balances, interest rates, minimum payments)
• Your notification preferences
• Usage data (which features you use, when you log in)

How we use your data

• To generate your personalised debt payoff plan
• To send you payment reminders and monthly check-ins (if you opt in)
• To improve the product based on usage patterns
• We never sell your data to third parties

AI processing

Claiyo uses Claude (by Anthropic) to generate plain-English explanations of your debt plan. Your debt data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate these explanations. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not store your data with Anthropic beyond the individual API call.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS in London, UK). All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use Row Level Security to ensure only you can access your data.

Claiyo may display links to financial products. We may receive a commission if you apply for or purchase a product through these links. This does not affect the information we provide or the cost to you.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. To exercise these rights or to delete your account, contact us at privacy@claiyo.co.uk.
